Tournament participation fee is $425 for U9, U10, U11 boys and girls teams. U11 will choose between 8 v 8 or 11 v 11. Completed tournament application and entry fee must be received by Feb 12, 2006. All games will be played at NOVA, Sterling campus.

The Loudoun Soccer Club (LSC) is pleased to announce its annual Icebreaker 2006 Tournament in Loudoun County, VA March 18-19, 2006. This tournament provides an excellent opportunity for boys and girls U-9, U10 and U-11 to enjoy great soccer in the heart of Virginia's most beautiful countryside.

GUEST PLAYERS
Teams are allowed four (4) guest players (U9, U10 and U11 playing the 8 v 8 format) or five (5) guest players (U11 playing the 11 v 11 format.

Guest players will not be listed on your certified roster. Guest Players must be written in on the copy of the Tournament Roster you will provide at Registration.

Recreational players are permitted to play as long as they are listed on the Tournament Roster, and they have provided their approved player passes and medical release forms.

All guest players MUST provide their player passes and medical release forms to the team for which they will be play. NO EXCEPTIONS.

AGE GROUPS

Team rosters may carry a maximum of fourteen (14) players for U9, U10 (7 v 7), and U11 (8 v 8) including a maximum of four (4) guest players.

Team rosters may carry a maximum of eighteen (18) players for U11 (11 v 11) including a maximum of five (5) guest players.

COMPETITION AND AWARDS

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games.

The tournament will follow rules regarding travel, officials and play. A copy of the rules will accompany the acceptance package.

Individual awards will be presented to Champions and Finalists for each Division

PATCH EXCHANGE AND T-SHIRTS

The exchanging of patches/pins is encouraged.

T-shirts will be available through pre-order forms that will be mailed with your team acceptance package. A sample design will be included. A limited supply of tshirts will be available on site the weekend of the tournament.

REGISTRATION
Teams accepted will provide at, or prior to, registration the following:

Permission to Travel Forms
Approved State Roster
Individual Medical Release Forms
USYSA Player Passes with picture permanently attached.

NOTE: Photos are required on Recreational Player Passes from states other than Virginia. Photos are required on ALL Travel Player Passes.

Tournament registration will be conducted on Friday, MARCH 17, 2006, from 5:00pm - 9:00 pm at a location to be determined. Please note there will be NO late or field registration! Teams must present valid USYSA Player Passes, Certified State Roster, Medical Release Forms and Permission to Travel Forms (for all non-Virginia) teams at registration.

All information and tournament changes will be available on the website. After the deadline, status of applications, game schedules and tournament results will be available online.

FEES AND DEADLINE
The tournament fee is $425 for U9, U10 and U11. Fax or email applications will not be processed. Fees must accompany the application. Please make your checks payable to Loudoun Soccer.

The tournament fee is NON-REFUNDABLE after the tournament application deadline. If your team withdraws from the tournament before the Feb 12, 2006 deadline , a $50 processing fee will be subtracted from your application fee before it is refunded. LSC will deposit all entry checks, but this does not guarantee acceptance.

A completed tournament application, a copy of your certified official roster and the tournament entry fee must be received by Feb 12, 2006. Notification of the status of your application will be posted on our website no later than Feb12, 2005 and the tentative targeted release date of the tournament schedule posted on Feb 18, 2005. Applications will be processed as they are received.

LODGING

We strongly advise you to secure hotel accommodations when you first apply to the tournament. The tournament committee has secured hotel accomodations closest to the soccer fields located in the Loudoun County area. Do not call the office regarding field locations. Maps will be mailed with the schedules.
